Hi! My name is Trudy Cox and I’m so glad you stopped by to glance at my blog.
I am a 50 year old mother of four daughters. My husband and I are empty nesters and are enjoying every single bit of it! We love our girls, but now it’s time for us to enjoy our lives.
I started this blog because I realized there were other women out there in my shoes.
What shoes you ask?
The shoes that come with a family history of breast cancer, heart disease and other atrocious diseases that can plague our lives, and just trying to adjust to life as empty nesters.
My mother died of breast cancer when I was 24. Her cancer was hormone driven so that meant that when I hit menopause I would be out of luck with hormone replacement. Well, thanks to a medically induced partial hysterectomy at the age of 42, I hit menopause around 47.
It was a few years later that I accidentally discovered natural products that literally changed my life. Ever since then, it has become my life’s passion to share what I learned and help other women in the same shoes as me (see, I used that phrase again).
Through this blog, I’ll share how I learned to take control of my own health and how you can do the same. Even if you don’t have a family history of breast cancer, you can still benefit from taking control of your and your family’s health.
I’ll also share my experiences and what I have learned as I have moved onto this new phase of womanhood. I hope you will join me on this journey.
Please note that I am NOT a medical professional. I cannot diagnose, treat or prescribe medications for any condition. I am simply sharing what I have learned from my own personal research and experiences.
Live healthy, my friends, and remember that age is just a number.
